    Native American Code of Ethics

~ Rise with the Sun (and Moon) to pray. Pray alone, pray often; The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak.

~ Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.

~ Treat the guests in your home with much consideration. Serve them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with respect and honor.

~ Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community, the wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours.

~ Respect all things that are placed upon earth - whether it is people or plant.

~ Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind, body and spirit. Practice optimism.

~ Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us. They are part of your worldly family.

~ Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown, give them space to grow.

~ Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will return to you.

~ Keep yourself balanced. Your mental self, Spiritual self, Emotional self and Physical self all need to be strong, pure and healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich in spirit to cure emotional ails.

~ Make conscious decisions as to who you will be and how you will react. Be responsible for your own actions.

~ Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not touch the personal property of others, especially sacred and religious objects. This is forbidden.

~ Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on others.

~ Be true to yourself first. You cannot nurture and help others if you cannot nurture and help yourself first.

I'm becoming ever more infected with the Harry Potter bug. I'm very glad I didn't start reading the books until four was already out. Of course I'll read the entire book that day which is great because then I'll know what happend, but bad because more characters will be dead and it will be over until the agonizing wait for book seven.

Horseback riding today. I'll be using a different horse than last week I was told. Last week I had the difficult mother who had just started to be ridden again after three years of not. She was less than happy that I was keeping her from her youngest. I've never had a horse toss its head so much. This week I have one of the daughters.

A friend of mine had liposuction yesterday on her hips, thighs, butt and stomach. I never thought I'd know someone who had that done. I hope she loves it.

Conference in SA all this week. This is the best part about my job, I do think. I kind of like living out of a hotel room. Someone else picks up after me, changes my sheets and towels, I don't have to drive to get to the gym or the pool. I think it's going to be a good week.

Blackster, I'm sorry to hear the news. I wish you the best in sorting it out. Also, I didn't know you used to live in Alaska! There are a few military bases around Fairbanks. I stayed in the Anchorage area which, as I'm sure you know, also has a base close by. How could you leave?!

Alaska is beautiful. At least in the summer it is. There's not a whole lot to do city-social wise, but the outdoor recreation is unbeatable. Of course, if I moved there I'd start buying stock in whatever company manufactures mosquito spray. I'd certainly be buying enough of it.

I'm going horseback riding Saturday. I have a friend who breeds Russian Arabians. Beautfiul horses. I'm eager for the weekend.

I love vacations, but I hate the mess they make at work no matter my preparations.

    It's good to be back.

I leave for Alaska tomorrow. I haven't started packing. I haven't even made a list. Friends were called away to an emergency in PN so I'm house/dog sitting. I've been staying out there for the past three days and I hand off the keys to a mutual friend tomorrow morning. The dogs are two eight month old puppies that are a pitbull/rottweiler mix. I figure I best get to know them now... They love to bite and they'll chew on ANYTHING. They're crazy. They're great.

I've been sick for the last three days. Not contagious sick. I'm not really sure what's wrong. I just feel like crap. No symptoms other than nausea. None, zippo, nada. Which is why I still went to work, however I left at one today. I get paid regardless. :) The one nice thing about my job.

I finally became fed up with lying in bed and thinking about how shitty I felt. Thus the following:

For each question/blurb, pick a song title that best answers or sums up.

    1. Your favorite sexual position? ‘Everything is Beautiful’ – Ray Stevens
    2. Your views on anal sex? ‘It Happens Every Day’ – Carly Simon
    3. How good are your oral skills? ‘Happy Boys and Girls’ – Aqua
    4. How slutty are you? ‘I Get Ideas’ – Tony Martin
    5. How horny are you? ‘Can’t Get Enough’ - Barry White
    6. How do you like your sex? ‘Man to Man’ – Gary Allen
    7. Spit or swallow? ‘I’ll go on Downtown’ – Cory Morrow
    8. How frequently do you masturbate? ‘Rough and Ready’ – Trace Adkins
    9. Where do you most like having sex? ‘Wherever you will go’ – The Calling
    10. (easy one) Best song to fuck to? ‘Walk the Plank’ – Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack

Bonus: I made Eric laugh and agree with me. Except he is now pointing out that we don't fuck to music. Excuse me while I prove him wrong.

5k this morning followed by a nap and the library where I had to pay my fines. *frowns* My donation to the community I suppose. Paid bills, did a lower body workout at the gym, went to Wal-mart and bought a sun shade for my car because this is Texas and it's too fucking hot already. This state sucks if you're not in one of their larger cities, and I am most decidedly not there.

My best friend is flying in this next weekend. Good times. I need to stock up on the Captain Morgan.

    I love my brother.

That said, every time I am in a room with him for more than five minutes I want to beat him bloody. He's fine when we're apart, slightly exasperating at times, but fine. I don't mind spending time on the phone with him or hearing about the stupid stuff he's doing. Sometimes I even miss him. But no sooner have we spent five minutes together than he reminds me why we don't visit all that often. Our phone conversations are great. It's hard to pull someone into doing something stupid when you're hundreds of miles apart and on the telephone. In person, however, it's different. He teases, he gets too physical, he makes snide remarks, he tries to fight with Eric. So, while I can say that I deeply love my brother, I don't like him very much.

    Hast Du das Neueste gehört?
Today was very good (Das glaube ich!). I actually came home from work early for once and watched another episode of Gokusen before I had to do anything. I ate some nice German cooking as well, always a treat, and I just noticed the time and am heading straight to bed. Hopefully in the morning putting on my socks will be easier. (Embarassing story.) Guten abend!

My conversion is just about complete I'd say. Curiosity trounced me and sent me to read a Gokusen fic. *sigh*  It was  [info]kiyasama's True Confessions.  Quite good, wonderfully engrossing, and I'm so glad I started reading it at the point I did or I would have been going nuts wondering what would happen next.

Tonight I try to download the manga.

I finally watched the first three episodes of live action Gokusen. So cool! And whoever plays Sawada Shin, hot damn! He's beautfiul. Which is only fair because looking at some of the other teachers, particularly the head teacher, is downright painful. If I thought my hair would do what his does...

I like the show so far (Yankumi rocks), but even if the plot takes a nosedive I might watch it just to see him. *leers*

So. This is what my brother sent me: http://home.elka.pw.edu.pl/~pgrabow1/kolezka.swf?name=Durand

It actually looks more like him, so much so that at first I thought it WAS him. Which only made it funnier.

I was feeding my obsession when I found this ) site.  What follows is from it.

    Justifications

Naruto/Lee: Lee entered the picture with a slight obsession with fighting Sasuke and an extreme obsession with dating Sakura. However, he also seemed to accumulate an obsession with Naruto out of nowhere. So there you go.

Naruto/Itachi: Itachi MAY have just been following orders when he was told to go and retrieve Naruto. However, he also may have just been trying to satisfy his own needs for some Naruto lovin'.

Naruto/Jiraiya: Jiraiya calls Naruto "Sexy" and seems to be quite obsessed with hanging around with him all the time. Jiraiya is also notoriously known as a pervert so you never know what that kind of guy is going to do with all that power and a little twelve-year-old genin jumping around in the water obliviously.

Naruto/Kabuto: Naruto and Kabuto... now THAT'S a pair! When Naruto found out that Kabuto was BAD, he looked so betrayed. Mostly because now he couldn't invite Kabuto over for anymore lovin'.

    There you have it.

You scored as Genma. You’re Genma, one of the top Jounin in Konoha.
You’re calm and collected – in one word, cool – and remain so even when it’s a matter of life and death. People generally respect you and trust. No wonder you get to do the most difficult missions.

Which Naruto ninja are you most like?

I told Eric that our date tonight would consist of Naruto episode 131 and staying in. He seemed less than pleased. He was also a bit upset when I came back from the store two days ago with whole grain french bread instead of the regular french bread. Also, I bought tomatoes instead of avocados (they're better for you). Apparently, I've been batting zero all week. To make it up to him we are going to look at a bridge tomorrow, because engineers are tools and think stuff like that is fun. And I like him, damnit, so I can't even complain! *whimper*
